Morgan County High Point Trip Report

From Highway 62 east of Wartburg, go east and turn north onto Highway 116 toward Frozen Head State Park. Go about 5 miles to a pass and park alongside the road; 4-wheel drive vehicles may drive east on a dirt road for about another 0.7 mile. Hike east on a dirt road from the saddle/pass for about 0.7 mile to a split. From here head east, straight up the steep ridge. Wagon Rock is a 10-15 foot bluff that has to be climbed (pretty easy) after a few hundred feet. Continue up the ridge to the top; it is steep in places. The summit is a wooded knoll. Round trip hike is about 3 miles.
