Putnam County Highpoint Trip Report

I took a right onto the road 50 feet after the I-40 underpass. It fronts the freeway and turns to gravel before reaching its end at a house. The people knew about the hp issues but were not sure which of 2-3 spots it was. When he saw the map, he said that ruled out the spot by the freeway and he redirected me to a neighbor's house. He said I should have made a left onto another long driveway just after I turned right onto his road. I did so and met this neighbor. He said that other cohpers had leveled all the areas around and found it to be by the transformer along the fence on your left as you near the house on the right. It was dark by the time I got there but the full moon lit it well enough to see that this fit the map perfectly, assuming that the fence line is the county line.
