From I-40, take exit 254 (Highway 53 South/Highway 141) and drive south on Highway 53 for about 1.5 miles, then turn right onto Pigeon Roost Road. Follow this road for 1.2 miles, then turn left onto Old Fuller Hollow Road. Go 0.7 mile and bear right at a split, and go another 0.3 mile and turn into the drive on the right. The mailbox has 'Highpoint Farm' on it. Bear right and ask permission at the house to hike up the mountain. I think the last name is Keller.

From the house, hike downhill and cross the bridge over the creek and head uphill on a grassy road due west to the base of the knob. Follow a dirt road uphill to the right, then bear left at a fork and continue uphill to the ridge line. Follow this left (south) to a field just below the first area, and bushwhack up the steep dirt knob to the top. The top is fairly flat and has many blackberries. Follow the ridge south along deer paths through the blackberry plants to the saddle, then uphill to the 1,248 elev. area. This area is also pretty flat on top.

Total round trip hike is about 1 mile.
