Wilson County High Point Trip Report

From Watertown on Highway 70, go west on Highway 70 for about a mile and turn south onto Beech Log
Road. Go about 2.5 miles to a farm on the left with a gate. Go through the gate and close it behind you,
and drive to the house around the barn (the old, large house is not lived in). The owner is Snooky
Ricketts. From the large barn, follow a farm road through fields and go left, following the road uphill
through the woods. Pass over a grassy ridge with a good view, spotting the highpoint to the northwest.
Follow the trail down to a saddle, then hike uphill to the ridge line. Go left a few hundred feet to the
summit. The highpoint is across a 6 foot high climbable fence along the ridge, in a small patch of trees
and briars.
