On US-80 in the community of Elmo, which is on the far east end of the county, take FM-2728 northeasterly
for 4 miles to County Road 346. This road is poorly marked; the sign is on the other side of the road from
where you will be turning. Turn right onto CR-346 and follow the road; it will dogleg left slightly,
then make a 90-degree left turn, heading northeast again.
Stay straight at the first junction, follow the road left at a bend at another junction,
and park along this thin road roughly 2 miles after leaving FM-2728.
The highpoints are in an open field. Battle briefly with brush and a barb-wire fence to gain the field,
and walk out toward the obvious highest humps. We walked the field a bit, using the sight-level to zero in on
one best area, then left as the sun was setting.
