San Patricio County Highpoint Trip Report

This one is easy. Exit Interstate 37 at exit 40 (Highway 888), go north 200 feet, and turn right (southeast) onto the road that parallels the interstate. Go about 0.8 mile, watching for the county line signs posted on the interstate.

Park at the county line about 0.1 mile past a business. Walk to the fence line 20 feet from the road at the county line. A road right-of-way disc is in the ground here. I crossed the unposted fence and checked the field for higher ground, but found none. Future visits only need visit the fence line.
