Walker County High Point Trip Report

three areas - 1 at Huntsville fairgrounds, 2 more 3/4 mile to the SW (500+ ft)

The large area is no longer a fairground, much of it is a housing project. I drove around and decided that the highest point was at the S end of the parking lot for the Fair Park Health Care Center on Old Houston Road. Of the two points to the SW, the one to the N was obviously higher so I drove into the driveway and knocked on the door. Nobody was home, so I couldn't ask permission to visit the HP I had already stepped on.
