Washington County Highpoint Trip Report

The high point in Washington County is easy to find since it is marked on the county map but it is entirely unremarkable. From Burton on US 290 go northwest on FM 1697 (reached from FM 390). When you have gone about 0.3 mile past Harmon School Road, the high point will be about 0.2 mile to your southwest. This is about 0.3 mile north west of Harmon School Road.

Elevation appears to be 560 to 565 feet - see this map.

From this website search for properties R57539 (3855 FM 1697 that is 70 acres) and R17485 (3255 FM 1697 that is 40 acres) you will have the farms that appear to share the high knoll.
