Wood County High Point Trip Report

I drove to Mineola, Quitman and then east on FM 2088 to FM 2869. I went to the north HP area first.

Go 0.5 mile east of road junction, turn north and go to the gate. Hike east 0.1 mile, then bushwhack north. I built a cairn on top.

I then went to the south area. Actual roads do not match the 7.5-minute quad or DeLorme Atlas. I went 1.5 miles south of the road junction, then 0.8 mile west, to Pilgrim's Pride poultry sheds. That appears to be the south HP area.
