Cache County High Point Trip Report
Mt Naomi

Perhaps it was because I didn't have my 3-yr-old on my back, but this climb was much easier than Bridger
the day before. I went alone, starting at the parking lot at the lake at 6:25 AM. Saw a young moose down
low and several doe up higher. I reached the summit at 7:25 AM, spent 15 minutes enjoying the great views
of Cache Valley through the canyons to the west and the Bridger Peak ridge to the east. Arrived back at the
car at 8:15 AM on an intermittent jog. Even with the break at the top, that is better than 2.5 mph, which is
possible in part because of the excellent steady grade of this trail.
