Thurston Peak

I drove up very early morning to avoid ATV traffic - drove around Francis on the east side - not a very good road. From there the road crosses back over to the west side. I drove to the end.

From there I biked an additional mile, stashed the bike, and hoofed it along the ridge to the summit of Thurston. The saddle between Thurston and the peak to the south is sufficient to make this a fun and challenging climb.

One and a half hours round trip from the van.
