Deseret Peak

This one is a classic. Started out early morning with deer right in the campground. I made great time up through the canyon, expecting to see more wildlife but seeing none. I enjoyed the views from the saddle. From there I got socked in, but I made the summit at the two-hour mark. It was windy and cold, so I took shelter in the stone shelter for a quick snack. There was an American flag at the top, which added to my photos. I was disappointed that the clouds prevented the great views, but I'll just have to climb that one again. Jogged out in 45 minutes. The deer were still in the campground by the trailhead.
