Wayne County High Point Trip Report

Bluebell Knoll (11,320+ ft)

After climbing Delano Peak, we drove to Bicknell and spent the night. The Aquarius Diner is heartily recommended. The next morning, we followed the traditional driving route to the HP of Wayne County. Boulder Top is truly were the deer and antelope play, having seen herds of both on the way up. An easy HP, but the views are very rewarding. Reviewing the register, six signatures preceded us this year, all within the previous week. By the way, if it hasn't been pointed out, the highest point on Bluebell Knoll is not at the cairn, but rather a large boulder 20 feet to the east.
