Big Flat Mountain (3,345 ft)

Hike: Driveup

Directions to Trailhead: Take Skyline Drive in Shenandoah NP. About 20 miles N of I-64, find Loft Mountain Wayside (grocery, gas station, ranger, etc.), turn right on road to Loft Mountain Campground. Drive 1.3 miles up this road to campground at top.

Route: No hike. I found the highest point to be in the middle of the campground, near space G159.

HP Description: HP is near water tank and other equipment at top of mtn. No benchmark, or other sign.

View: Broken. Fairly decent just below HP, but doesn't compare with any of the overlooks on the highway.
