Fairfax County Highpoint Trip Report

Since I work in the area and can see the tower from my office, it seemed as good a time as any to make an "official" trip to this HP. According to Fairfax County, this has always been the highpoint, not Gantt Hill. Somewhere I have the official, down to a 1/10 of a foot, elevation.

This is urban hiking at its finest. Maybe 10 minutes to get there and another 10 to get back. The highest point appeared to be between the fence and the back of the stores on Route 123.
