Fluvanna County High Point Trip Report

These two high areas may be difficult to satisfy yourself on. It is as Fred Lobdell mentioned in his report.
The first area is less than 250 yards west of the intersection of US 15 and US 250, right across the road from
where CR615 turns right and just beyond the sign for Fluvanna county. The "for sale" sign is still there.
There are recent survey flags in the field, and tire tracks in the dirt. I covered a lot of ground to satisfy
myself here.
The other area is best reached by going south from the US 250/US 15 intersection. Pass the gas station,
the dirt driveway, and an abandoned blue house on the left. Park in front of an abandoned small white house on
the left. The high contour covers a lot of area here. Wander along the edge of the wooded area and around
behind the greenhouse. There is no significantly higher area.
