Lee County High Point Trip Report
Date: April 21, 2002
Author: Ryan Bowles
Previous trip reports are entirely accurate. I offer these clarifications. There are several old logging roads
that converge at the turn off from Route 160. The one you want to take is the one that parallels the road to
Black Mountain. From 160, it goes up very briefly, before leveling out as it contours around The Doubles.
After reaching the second old road, and following it southeast for 0.5 mile, there is a more overgrown old
road that angles up along the ridge to the left, while the main road goes down to the right.
Stay on the main road.
