Lynchburg City High Point Trip Report

The previous trip report is accurate, but we identified a better, shorter route. Follow the directions in the previous trip report, but park in the Wingate Inn lot.

Enter the trail directly across from the hotel parking lot. Follow this as it contours around Candlers Mountain, through three trail intersections. Come to an open area coming in from the left. Just after this, turn right on the rutted trail going steeply uphill. Take this to the ridge line, then turn left, reaching the HP soon at the next knob.
