Norfolk City High Point Trip Report

two tiny areas 1/2 mile west of Ocean View (45+ ft)

From the junction of US 60/Ocean Avenue and VA 168/Tidewater Drive, go south on 168, pass under ramp overpass, and take the first right turn at the traffic light onto Mason Creek Road. Take the first right turn onto Government Avenue, pass the school, and park opposite the baseball backstop.

Walk toward the basketball courts, and see the hole in the fence around the hill. Walk the few feet to the top, and see the separate high point bumps, topped by large Virginia live oaks, stabilized by railroad ties.
