Rappahannock County Highpoint Trip Report

Once John Garner directions get to the actual trail, his directions are fine. Up until that point you are on
your own. The overlook in question is the Jewell Hollow Overlook rather than the Mount Marshall
Overlook (which actually does not exist). Plus, it is a lot closer to mile 37 than 36. But other than that,
things line up.
Walk south on the AT until the top of the hill. I took the HP to be on some rocks to the left (west) of the trail.
The more westerly point is a bushwhack and appeared to me to be lower but I could not get a good
sighting with my level to be certain.
About 10-15 minutes up plus bushwhacking time.
