Richard Carey's report is perfect and will lead you to the summit in short order. I tried to follow some of the old ski trails uphill, but they peter out and are not worth the effort. This one may be driven if you continue straight past the front of the lodge on the paved road until it turns to dirt, but my passenger car wasn't up to the mud and puddles on this rainy day.
