Kewaunee County Highpoint Trip Report
Cherneyville Hill
Date: July 9, 2007
Author: Darren Hruska
I'm the son of the owner of Cherneyville Hill in the township of Montpelier.
The hill's elevation is 1,020 feet and is the highest point in Kewaunee County.
The west side was dug quite a bit for gravel and on the east side it was dug for
a bit of gravel, too. There have been rumors that we might dig the hill up but
we don't plan to do that. If we did, a hill directly north might take its place,
being 950 feet in elevation. The hill consists of a survey marker and an
elevation marker. For more information or possibly pictures
contact me.
