Marshall County High Point Trip Report
spot elevation 1/2 mile northeast of Tunnel Hill (1602 ft)
Date: March 31, 2000

Drive south on US 250 from Cameron a little more than 1.5 miles, almost to the crest
of the hill. Turn left onto macadam road. Ignore left turn 0.5 miles in, and park at
0.7 miles at pipeline marker. Scramble up embankment, and follow field road across
the ridge line and up to the open grassy summit. The high ground visible from the summit,
further north and past a gate, is lower than the first grassy hill.
Multitude of no-trespassing signs at the house on the road crest made me decide to start
the hike a bit lower down the road. Nice view from summit, looking right down into Cameron.
