Description
A highpointer seeking employment may provide information in any combination of the following formats -
- A web resume in the format of your choosing.
Several examples are provided at
this web site.
Once a format has been chosen, provide the webmaster with your
employment-specific information and suggest the desired format.
He will then compose and post your resume according to your specifications.
As an alternative, you may provide a pre-formatted resume and the webmaster
will post it directly or provide it as a downloadable file.
- A cover letter geared to either the general employer
or to a specific audience. Essential information is provided at
this web site.
Again, the webmaster will format and post your letter with the desired content.
Multiple letters may be provided, with each letter targeting a specific audience.
Note: It is doubtful whether providing a cover letter is a viable option - each one in general
must be addressed to a specific employer or employment agency.
- A bullet-style summary of general autobiographical information.
Normally this is simply included within a resume.
- A free-form essay of general autobiographical information.
Here anything may be described (e.g. specific employment goals, family, geographic preference)
which would be valuable to a potential employer.
- A photograph of yourself.
- A link to your e-mail address.
You should consider whether the address should be intentionally
mangled to foil web crawlers and spammers.
- An external hyperlink to your personal home page,
set of web pages, or dedicated website.
Any information may be posted directly on this public website, or, more discreetly,
provided as a downloadable file.
