In-style at 11,000 ft.
By 5:30 pm yesterday TZT had completed the carry in soft snow to Camp #3, Motorcycle Hill, at 11,000 ft. and were resting above the clouds in t-shirts or shirtless. Beautiful, calm weather replaced the fog-bound earlier treks.
Other climbers are reported to be summiting in droves while the weather allows. TZT will plan on reaching the camp at 14,000 ft. in four days and ride out a forecasted storm.
Note to Margaret, Mike and Young Dave: the terrain has been like the Missouri Mountain couloirs recently climbed.
