“It’s a party up here”

Rob checked in at 6:15 pm yesterday to report that TZT was camped at 13,200 ft., short of the planned goal of 13,500 ft. due to fatigue and a threat of foul weather. The climb from Motorcycle hill to Windy Corner was steep but so far the Corner has not lived up to its name.

“The weather’s great, we’re shirtless and taking snow-baths. Chris is cleaning Dave’s back [let’s hope he’s referring to Dad], It’s a party up here right now.”

The plan for today is to take a rest day or move the camp to 14,000 ft., depending on how everybody feels in the morning. Rob also says ‘hello’ to friends and loved ones.
