“A long, tough, arduous day”

Yesterday’s 10:15 pm dispatch from Rob tells of a weary Team TZT after a tough day of steep climbing to get half the camp moved to 14,200 ft. Windy Corner lived up to its name though things calmed after getting around the bend.

The camp at 14,200 ft has a population of about 200 climbers, most of whom summited during a brief window and are heading down. Not many teams have come up behind.

Today TZT will finish moving the camp to 14,200 ft and acclimatize before going on up to 17,200 for next camp. All are reported doing well, in good spirits but tired.
