No word, yet

No word last night or this morning from TZT. According to their proposed schedule today would be their first and only attempt at the summit assuming they made High Camp at 17,200 ft yesterday.

Weather, the phone battery or both could be at issue. The forecast today today for conditions at 17,200 ft to the summit calls for 15 to 30 mph southwest winds with up to six inches of snow accumulating.

Let us all hope, imagine and enjoin that today --right now --TZT is roped together, a team, heads down against the wind and snow, urging one another to keep pushing one boot in front of the other, fighting against everything they’ve ever learned about what their bodies can and cannot do, ignoring quiet challenges against their will from a darker part of the mind... and making the summit.
